Privacy notice

What this website does with your data.

Short version: this website collects nothing about you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no requests to any third party while you read it. Last updated 23 October 2026.

When you simply read the site

We set no cookies and load no analytics, advertising or social-media scripts. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so your browser does not contact anyone else to display these pages. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including your IP address and the pages requested, to keep the service running and secure.

When you email us

If you write to us we hold your message and your email address so that we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. We use it for that purpose only. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell or share your details.

The detail

Lawful basis, retention and transfers.

Why we are allowed to hold it

For correspondence, our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering someone who has chosen to contact us about our services. For server logs, it is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule. If you would like your correspondence deleted sooner, ask and we will do it.

Where it is held

This website and its email are hosted in the United Kingdom. We do not transfer personal data collected through this site outside the UK.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data — for example by adding a contact form or analytics — we will update this notice and change the date at the top before the change goes live.
